VICTORIA PARK ACHIEVES NATIONAL RECOGNITION

The Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) and Tennis Foundation have announced that Victoria Park Community Tennis Centre in Salisbury, one of the area's leading tennis sites, has been awarded 'Beacon' status as part of the AEGON Parks Tennis programme in recognition of their high quality, affordable community tennis programmes.

The team at Victoria Park led by Ian Jerrard supported by a dynamic team of coaches, competition organisers, and administrators are welcoming and friendly to all who want to play the sport, the programme caters to all ages and all abilities and the opportunity to pay and play makes tennis widely accessible for the wider community.

'Beacon status is a great achievement, it demonstrates a centre that is looking to engage with the community, a centre that is inspiring new people to play the sport for all of its benefits'
